Gina Angelsberg

Housing Navigator, Region 6

Gina Angelsberg has been the Housing Navigator in the ETxADRC’s Texarkana office since 2020. She is responsible for assisting home developers and the community by providing accessible, affordable, and integrated housing to Veterans, the elderly, and the disabled in nine counties.

“I really enjoy working with the vulnerable population and serving those that are in need and being a voice for them. I also like meeting and working with managers from various organizations and sharing our information with them.”

“I have the pleasure of working with a very positive, hard working group of dedicated employees. I also enjoy learning about the various organizations and new resources out in the field that may assist others.”

“One of my favorite experiences since being with ETxADRC, is during the 2021 snowstorm, we had quite a few individuals that had no power or water. I was able to help a Low-Income Tax Credit property that consisted of the aged get assistance through The Red Cross, Emergency Management, and the local city government. By connecting these organizations with the elderly residents, they were able to see the challenges facing the elderly and get the assistance they needed.”

Fun Fact: I have three children and they are each a decade apart in age. So, I have been raising kids for a long time!

Favorite quote: “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” -Benjamin Franklin

Driving Values: I value hard work and family. My kids are a constant reminder to continue working hard for something you really want.
