Chesley Knowles has been ETxADRC’s Program Manager since 2021.
“I love working with a great team! The ADRC staff are dedicated to meeting the needs of the aging/disability community.”
Chesley has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, and has spent 23 years with Community Healthcore (18 in Intellectual and Development Disability Services; 5 in Housing, Veterans, and ADRC programs).
“We occasionally get calls from families in need of a ramp for their house to be accessible. One of my favorite outcomes is seeing pictures of the new ramp built by a local service organization.”
She currently serves as Chair of the East Tex Connects regional transportation committee; served four years on the Longview Transit Advisory Committee; served four years on the advisory committee for Longview Partners in Prevention. She also served 2 years as President of the Northeast Texas Homeless Consortium; and helped organize the annual Point In Time Count.
Her favorite activities are reading, working in the yard, and spending time with her husband, three children, three cats, and one dog.
